If they are in an eating frenzy, they will take almost anything. The wax worm fly is a fly I got on e bay. It is deadly with panfish, they swallow it upon sight.

The one I don't see is a fly that resembles a wad of chewed Dentyne gum. I spit my gum out in the Charles one day and a carp took it... never did take my fly, however!
