These fish fight HARD! I mean you better have a firm grip on the rod or its gone. Really. I have found too that they like to hit the fly on the drop and that
bead chain eye flies work the best. Based on their teeth they are minnow eaters.  Those chubby lips hide some pretty nasty teeth. One outing I found a group of
them hanging around drainage tube in fairly deep water and counted over thirty of them. By the eigth one they got wise to me and shut down. Never had such a
work out in... ]]></description>
