Got talking with a few angler brothers at church last Sunday and the subject of carp came up. Man, I know I say this every year, but I really want to target
those things this year. Gotta hit the Concord River near where folks feed the ducks and see what I can toss around that will imitate a hunk of bread.
The wife has been there to see the ducks scatter like mad once the carp realize there's food in the water. Says there are some monster fish in that river. As a bonus, I'm told it's also a pretty good bass fishery, too!
The more I see and hear about carp on the fly rod, the more jealous I get.
