This past weekend I fished several of NYC great lakes. I fished the lake in the bronx, Van Cortland Lake, in Van Cortland park. It has a surface area of 14 acres. The next day I fished the lake known as Oakland lake, in Alley pond park; located in Queens. It has a surface area of 11 acres. All of our lakes are shore fishing only.
There two other lakes in Queens, Kissena and the largest a 100 acre lake called Fresh Meadows Lake at the site of the 1964 Worlds Fair.imageimageimageimage
