For Sale Very Nice Condition Heddon Pal #8457 Mark IV 8'6" 8wt Controlled Flex Action fly rod. This rod has that cool Walnut section on the lower
1&1/2" of the grip with the "Heddon" name inlay in white and black. Also, sports the nice Allan Patented reel seat. Ferrule is Aluminum and
does need a new 'O' ring. It has 11 total guides (typical smaller Heddon of the period) including the tip and stripper. The blank is Heddon Yellow
Glass with Olive and Brown Wraps over White under wraps. The white under wrap under the guides shows slight blackening spotting. The most notable flaw is a
quarter inch scrape to the olive overwrap on the male ferrule along with a eigth of an inch of missing wrap in the same area. No sock or tube.
