Last week here has been bright sun and 60s (70 yesterday and warmer today). Ice has only been out for a couple weeks, and the water is still cold, but with
the stretch of weather we've had -- and it's supposed to continue through Sunday -- it's about ready to start busting wide open. I'll have the
pleasure of hosting Alec in my canoe next week when he comes out this way to give a classic bass fly demo, and I've got designs on a pond where I know the
bass & 'gills grow big, and where we can likely count on some crappie and pickerel should the winter schnide still be on.
Looking forward to knocking the rust off for the first time in about six months. Last line I wet was in October!
