I'm serious about fishing for big bass. This morning I was at my favorite pond at 5 am. Every thing was perfect, calm waters, cloudy skies. The water
temperature was low due to the amount of rain we have been getting. After three hours with one small bass I was frustrated. I saw a few fish swirls.
I looked into my bass box I found an # 8 Brown Wulff. I cast the fly out and skated accross the surface. It was steady action for over an hour I probably got over fifty Calico Bass and fat Bluegills. What was strange these fish were in one locale. You know something Calicos and Bluegills are some of the most beautiful fish we have. Made my day AJ

and managed several nice stripers at
the monomoy tip rip using six inch sand eel imitations on an intermediate line. The boat owner had never seen this kind of fishing and the bass put on a nice
show leap frogging over each other while trying to inhale my fly. Good fun!!! Gotta remember the stripping basket next time though....
